SAINT PETERSBURG SHOPPING GUIDE
Here is our concise guide to the best shops in the city. Most are located in the centre just a few minutes' walk from a metro station.
SHOPPING CENTRES
Gostiniy Dvor (Guest Court) is St. Petersburg's oldest shopping centre. Completed in 1785, the massive complex with an area of 53.000 metres sq. houses close to 100 small shops. Here you can find everything from designer clothes to souvenirs to chocolates to flowers to CDs.
New shops open all the time, departments have been known to switch floors and the selection and quantity of the goods on sale just keeps getting better. It is by far the best and most convenient location to shop in the city. A shopping spree could well last a day here with the various souvenirs on display, gift shops and eateries all in one location. A must-see for any tourist and shopaholic!
